BPO & TAX MANAGER AT INNOVUS GROUP
CHAIRPERSON ICPAK COAST BRANCH.

Having started off on my career path in 1998, I have over 20 years of industry gained experience in the finance and taxation field.
I started off as an Audit clerk at Kunj Trivedi & Company and for 3 years trained under the Late FCPA Ratilal Mistry, by the time I left Kunj Trivedi I was his tax assistant directly working under him.

I joined Aboo & Company in 2003 as an audit/Tax assistant and worked my way to an audit manager status in 4 years having gained firsthand experience in resolving tax matters with the KRA and had my audit team which I would head in audits of S/MSME’s.

In 2007, after a short break, I worked for a Local NGO CORDIO East Africa as the grants manager for 3 years where I handled different grants from assisting in proposal writing to receiving and distribution of grant funds and accounting for them to the donors. I would also handle audit matters for the NGO.

2013 saw me as an Office/Accounts manager for URKO SANCHEZ ARCHITECTS, where I would supervise the accountant, handle the cash inflows and outflows and do cash projections for the Architect.
2019 to date I work for Innovus group, I am a lisenced practitioner under ICPAK and handle all BPO and Tax matters as their BPO & TAX manager
My stint at ICPAK started in 2013 where I was co-opted into the excecutive committee and slowly climbed up to the chairperson position that I am currently serving as.

Under ICPAK I sit on various subcommitees i.e Practitioners Development, devolution and Professional standards. I am passionate about development & mentorship of the youth and look for opportunities to motivate and train them.
